During my trip to BC in the summer of 2007, my sister and her (now) husband took me paragliding.

After my flight, we headed back up the hill so a number of the other pilots could attempt a second flight. I was up on that hill for sun set. Here is one of the last pilots getting ready for his flight.

During my trip to BC in the summer of 2007, my sister and her (now) husband took me paragliding.

After my flight, we headed back up the hill so a number of the other pilots could attempt a second flight. I was up on that hill for sun set, and managed some lucky shots.

For my flight, I simply rode passenger in tandem with the flight instructor. This gave me plenty of time to take pictures.

As we descended, many of the other gliders circled upwards.

The field in the middle was our staging/launch area. The blue para-glider has just taken off, and is rising on an updraft.

During my trip to BC in the summer of 2007, my sister and her (now) husband took me paragliding.

We drove up to the launch field/cliff early in the morning, and then spent all day waiting for the right weather. We had to wait until late afternoon for the weather to cooperate enough for our flight. We spent hours watching an eagle soar.
